our tallest vinyl sculpture ever is a towering homage to the carefree summers that become rarer as years goes by.
Standing 26" [66 cm] tall, Cream began as an original sculpture exhibited at galleries around the world and is now available as a replica for the very first time.
The sculpture presents noop returning to the beach to remember how happy the ocean once made him. Summer afternoons used to last forever, but time sped up. The seasons changed. All that remains of those days is noop's memory of who he used to be. But like a trickster from Greek mythology, Sun squirts down sunscreen from the sky, and for a moment noop remembers what it was like to let his worries melt away.
This premium handmade vinyl sculpture is available in two unique formulas. Conceived and tested in the coarse cream laboratory, SPF 10 and SPF 50 [editions of 299 and 199] are designed to protect you from steaming afternoons into cool evening bonfires.
Each order includes one lonely noop ready to slather himself with sunscreen, one surfboard to carry him away from the world, Sun seeming to float above on this endless summer day, and a bottle of sunscreen with a dangling glob of cream that sways in the ocean breeze.
Reapply often, avoid direct sunlight, but never stray too far into the darkness.

As the shadows of the early evening drift along the beach, we recommend applying SPF 10. With a classic matte finish that pairs with the other coarse sculptures in your collection, this edition and its pops of high-gloss details will keep you covered during sunset swims and evening bonfires.

A HISTORY OF CREAM
cream began as an original sculpture handmade in our studio. These extremely limited editions were exhibited at galleries and art fairs before finding their homes in private collections.
In selecting which originals we make as vinyl replicas, we consider the pieces that continue to bring us joy every time we see them after so many years.

Following a 2019 edition of Cream that featured a fully wooden teak surfboard, here we integrated a strip of walnut wood down the center of noop's surfboard. This edition of 1 is a rare instance in which we combined wood with our world of glossy resin sculptures.

This life-size edition of Cream was part of our solo exhibition at Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles and was exhibited at Art Miami as well. Standing 7 feet [211 cm] tall, this piece marked the start of large-scale line of original sculptures.
